Plumbing Services: Pipe Repair
Common Causes of Pipe Failure.
• Broken or collapsed pipes:
Drain pipes and sewer lines may become damage or completely broken due to settling, frozen ground or shifting soil surrounding the pipe.
• Pipe corrosion:
The pipe has deteriorated or cracked, causing blockage in the line and restricting water flow.
• Leaking joints:
The seals between pipes have broken, allowing water to escape into the area surrounding the pipe.
• Root penetration:
When tree roots or shrubs have infringe the sewer / drain line, preventing normal flow and/or broken the pipe and eventually damaging the line.
• Low-grade pipes:
Existing pipes are constructed of below standard material that have deteriorated or corroded over time.

The second is a cracked or misaligned pipe with a camera showing its locator signal. The third is a pipe with belly and the fourth is a crushed pipe. Using the camera to inspect the line allows Mr. Rooter to find the exact problem and locate exactly where the problem lies.
