| Drain Cleaning Services
Most homeowners know how to work a plunger and pour chemical drain cleaners down a backed up drain. Yet, sometimes these measures are insufficient for drain cleaning. Either the drain remains clogged or the drain perpetually re-clogs. When this happens let Mr. Rooter Sewer & Drain take care of your clogged drains and sewer pipe issues. We have the experience, training and equipment to make your sewer & drain problems go away fast and stay away! Our technicians are experienced at cleaning drains and sewers.
HydroScrubing
Mr. Rooter HydroScrub™ service is the most effective method known to restore old drains to a like-new condition. A drain or sewer line choked with roots and years of accumulation of grease, soap and sludge can be restored to near original condition with the skill of your Mr. Rooter technician.
HydroScrub™ Features:
- Safe on all pipes
- Removes grease, sludge, mud, silt, fibrous material, etc.
- Long lasting results
- Avoids damage from backed-up lines
- Service scheduled for your convenience
- Cleans entire line by high pressure water

While our HydroScrub™ system won't repair a broken sewer, it can restore unrestriced drainage to sewer and drain lines to a like-new condition by using high-pressure water moving through tiny openings located in nozzles, removing roots, grease and sludge from the line. The combination of the high pressure and water volume provides a drain cleaning system unattainable by conventional methods. For lines with a history of problems, the HydroScrub™ can be used to inject specific amounts of our exclusive Mr. Rooter degreaser which actually enhances the cleaning power of the HydroScrub™. After the initial cleaning, your Mr. Rooter technician will recommend a periodic maintenance program to help insure an uninterrupted flow.
We offer an Up Front, Flat Rate Pricing. No Hourly Charges, No Overtime Charges which means No Confusion to ensure that all our customers are charged equally.

Call 1-888-655-6700 to have a Mr. Rooter technician visit your home at no cost for a plumbing quote! We specialize in locating these water and slab leaks or leak detection ,removing the concrete, digging out the affected areas, repiping or repairing the piping, then putting it back into service.

Trenchless Repair Method - Pipe Lining
Cured-In-Place-Pipe lining has been in use in the United States for the last 35 years. It is an approved and chosen method to rehabilitating cracked, broken and failed sanitary sewer pipes. Lining is less expensive and more efficient than traditional replacement methods. The lining process can be used to rehabilitate virtually any type of pipe including; Clay, Cast Iron, Orangeburg, PVC, ABS, HDPE, Concrete Pipe, etc.
Benefits for using Pipe Lining for Sewer Repairs
- Eliminates Root Intrusion
- Stops leaks from infiltration/exfiltration
- Seamless = no joints to leak
- Smooth surface improves flow capacity
- Pipe life to an est. minimum of 50 years
- Lower cost than traditional methods
- No damage to foundation/ landscaping
- No damage to interior walls
- Stand alone pipe, no host pipe needed
- Bridges missing sections of pipe
- Re-lines virtually any pipe material
- Repairs 2" - 12" diameter pipe

Install an Outside Cleanout for Access to Sewer
Older homes have sewer lines that are generally made out of clay crock which are usually about three foot sections put together end to end. Over time, the seal on these sections starts to break down and allow roots to enter the sewer line. As with any other root system, tree roots are constantly searching for water and nutrients which are both plentiful in sewer lines. If left untreated, the roots will continue to grow inside the pipe until they completely block it off and eventually cause a broken sewer much like grass gowing up through a sidewalk will eventually break the concrete.
An outside cleanout is an access to the sewer line located outside the house. There are several great benefits of having an outside cleanout.
- An outside cleanout prevents the need to bring an electric sewer machine into the house to properly clean the sewer.
- An outside cleanout prevents the need to remove cleanout caps inside the house potentially allowing sewage to drain out of the sewer onto the floor and the smell to enter the house.
- Sewer lines typically increase to 6" size shortly after they leave the house. A full sized outside cleanout will allow you to use a cutter that is 6" across instead of the 3" or 4" cutter that is normally required for the smaller cleanout access inside the house.
These pictures allow you to see the difference between a 3" cutter blade and a 6" cutter blade. As you can see, the 3" blade doesn't even clean half of the 6" pipe.
